Tetsuya Azuma was born in 1979. After completing Master’s degree in Public Policy, Harvard Kennedy School he served as deputy director at Public Relations Office and Oil and Gas Division, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) (2009 – 2013). And in 2013 he became Special Assistant to the Prime Minister(2013-2014). Since then, he served as deputy director at Electricity Market Division and Electricity and Gas Market Surveillance Commission, METI(2014-2017).
